“I don’t want anyone else,” I reply in a strong tone. She needs to know this. “You’ve ruined me for any other woman.”
Her eyes widen.
“You have nothing to worry about. And you better not even look in another man’s direction while I’m gone and please try and stay away from that damn bar.”
I’ve seen the men who work there. Good-looking bastards.
“I’d never cheat,” she replies, lifting her chin up.
“I know that. I’m just a jealous bastard,” I tell her, flashing her a sheepish grin.
She stares at me for a second then laughs. “You are, aren’t you?”
“Any man who has a woman like you would feel the same.”
She stills. “Okay I really need you inside me right now.”
I turn over and pull her on top of me.
“Ride me baby,” I whisper into her ear.
She pulls the blanket off me and does just that.
Fuck, how I’m going to miss her.
Chapter Twenty One
Tenielle
Five weeks later
I see him standing to the right of me, his head turning as he tries to find something.
Me.
He’s wearing a black hat on his head, pulled down low, a black t-shirt, and a pair of jeans that he was born to wear.
My man is delicious.
I walk in his direction, dragging my suitcase behind me. When he sees me, his eyes light up, and he jogs right to me.
“Hey you,” I say, laughing when he lifts me in his arms and spins me around.
“Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes,” he murmurs, his gaze devouring me before his lips slam down on mine.
This kiss tells me everything I need to know.
It tells me he missed me.
It tells me he wants me.
And it tells me he loves me.
I pull back sooner than I want to, but we’re in the middle of an airport for heaven’s sake.
“You look more beautiful than I remember,” he tells me, then lifts my suitcase in one hand and takes my hand in his other. “Let’s get out of here.”
I lick my lips and walk outside with him. The sunlight hits my eyes, so I slide my sunglasses down. When he leads me to a limo, I roll my eyes even though he can’t see.
“Really?” I say in a dry tone.
He laughs. “We’re moving up in the world.”
He opens the door for me, and I slide into the back. “What? No chauffeur to open the door?”
“Open your own damn door princess!” a voice calls out from the driver’s seat. I smile widely, jump out of the car and open his door.
“You better get your ass out here and say hello to your cousin!” I tell Jet, who smirks but does as he’s told.
“How have you been?” he asks as I pull him in for a hug.
“Good, how have you been?” I ask him, squeezing both his cheeks.
He gestures to the limo. “Fuckin’ amazing. I wanted to drive, thought I’d surprise you.”
“I’m glad you did. Where’s Ryder?” I ask.
He didn’t come? He’s so being downgraded from his spot as my favourite cousin.
And Jet has been moved up a notch.
“He’s not feeling too well. Lexi was making him some soup as we left.”
Great, man flu. Good luck Lexi.
Saxon, clearly done with waiting, takes my hand and pulls me back into the backseat.
“Kiss me,” he demands. “I’ve missed you so f**king much.”
I kiss the man.
The last six weeks have been full of phone calls, video calls, and text messages.
While Saxon does give good phone sex, I missed him so much. Just being around him. The way he always watches me, taking in every little detail of every little thing I do, or the way he always listens to what I have to say—even if I’m talking complete shit, like bitching about my receptionist.
Okay I’m not going to lie—I missed the sex too.
I missed everything about him.
Great. I’m turning into a f**king Hallmark card.
“I missed you too,” I say against his lips, grabbing his t-shirt and pulling him closer to me.
A throat is cleared. “Last time I’m picking you up, cuz.”
A giggle escapes my mouth. “Sorry Jet.”
I take Saxon’s hand in mine and lean my head on his shoulder. “So what’s the sleeping arrangements on the bus?”
“There are two separate rooms and the rest all have to sleep on bunks.”
I lift my head. “We get a room, right?”
However, at this point, I might do him with people watching and not care.
He grins. “I slept in a bunk this whole time and told everyone that we get the room for as long as you’re here.”
“Who slept in the room before?” I ask, feeling curious.
He glances at Jet.
“Jet Crawford! You better have been alone in that room!” I call out.
Jet laughs. “Coming from someone who was about to have sex in front of me a second ago.”
I narrow my eyes. “I’m older than you. You’re still a baby.”
“I’m twenty-one,” he replies on a sigh.
“Yeah—but I’ll still kick your ass, so shut up!”
He does.
Saxon shakes his head at me.
“What?” I ask, shrugging. “It’s hard being an elder cousin. You have to keep all of them in line.”
He leans over me, gently pushing me back on the seat. “You’re hot when you get bossy, you know that?”
