“Thanks,” he says softly, sitting down on the kitchen barstool and pulling me onto his lap. “I missed you today.”
I wiggle on his lap. “What did you get up to?”
“Recorded another song,” he replies. “We have another interview tomorrow. I can just imagine the questions they’re going to ask about you.”
“What are you going to say?” I ask, wrapping my arms around his neck.
“I’ll tell the truth. That’s what Ryder did and now they leave him alone—apart from asking how Lexi is.”
“And what is the truth?” I ask him, peppering kisses down his jawline.
His breath hitches. “The truth is that I’m in love with an amazing woman.”
“Flattery will get you everywhere,” I whisper, my lips curving into a smile. “What are we doing tonight?”
“How do you feel about going camping? I thought we could go for a night or two, just you and me.”
Best. Idea. Ever.
“I f**king love camping!” I announce, feeling excited.
He pushes my hair back behind my ear and grins. “I know, I remember you told me that. I have a tent and sleeping bags. What else do we need?”
“I’ll organize everything else,” I say, mentally making a list.
I love planning and organizing shit.
I kiss him once then jump off his lap and grab my overnight bag from my bedroom.
“What are you doing?” he asks as he follows me into the room.
I look up at him. “Packing.”
He laughs and shakes his head. “You really do love camping don’t you? I should have offered to take you earlier.”
“Yes you should have,” I smirk. “It might have sweetened me up a little.”
He comes up behind me, his fingers digging into my hips. “You were worth the chase.”
“I know.” I look into his brown eyes. “Can we stop for jam donuts on the way?”
“Anything you want babe,” he replies, spinning me around and kissing me, dipping my body backwards. His tongue delves into my mouth, making my head spin. This man makes me feel… everything.
He amplifies my every emotion.
It’s like he was made for me.
How f**king cheesy is that? But it’s the only way I can explain it.
The kiss turns heated, and he pushes me back onto the bed.
“Sex then camping?” I pant as his mouth leaves my lips to pay attention to other areas.
“Yes,” he grits out. “I can’t get enough of you. Will wanting you ever stop?”
“I f**king hope not,” I reply, pulling off his shirt. I lick his nipple ring, unable to stop myself. He undresses me quickly, ripping my panties on the way.
“I liked those panties!”
“I’ll buy you more.”
We make love, and then we pack to go camping.
Life is good.
Chapter Twenty
Tenielle
We spend two days alone—camping in the woods. Nothing exists except the two of us.
Nothing.
And it’s perfect.
As we get ready for bed on the first night, Saxon lies me down on the sleeping bag and starts to undress me. As he pulls my pants off, I sigh.
“What?” he asks¸ his voice deep.
“It really annoys me when you do that.”
“When I do what?” he asks, staring down at me.
“When you take off my panties with my pants,” I say. “It should go top, then pants, the bra then panties. In that order.”
He looks down at where he’s pulled off my pants and panties together.
“Why?” he asks, drawing the word out.
“Because, I don’t know. You’re supposed to admire me in my bra and panties I guess,” I say. I don’t really know why to be completely honest.
“Babe, sometimes I just want inside you. I really don’t think about all those things,” he says, his lip twitching in amusement.
“Yes sometimes it’s all about how fast you can get naked, but other times it’s nice to savour.”
He leans over me and kisses me briefly. “I’ll savour you all night long.”
He pulls my pants back up, then starts with my top.
Slowly, so slowly he seduces me, until it’s me begging him to go faster.
That will teach me to open my big mouth.

“Good morning,” he whispers to me, lifting his head.
“Morning,” I reply, laughing at the twigs sticking out from his hair. “Rough night?”
He smirks at me and tickles my ribs playfully. “Someone kept me up last night.”
I look around. “Who? Because I slept like a baby.”
He laughs. “Come on, let’s make some breakfast.”
I get up and open the zipper on the tent, then walk out and take in my surroundings. “Nothing like fresh air.”
Needing to pee, I grab some toilet paper and walk behind a large tree. I pull my pants and panties down and am about to go when Saxon walks up to me.
I scream.
“What the hell are you doing?” I screech, trying to pull my pants up.
Saxon laughs, clutching his stomach. “I was worried, I didn’t see where you went.”
I stand up, toilet paper in hand. “This here is a boundary you cannot cross my friend.”
He laughs harder.
I scowl deeper.
I wave the toilet roll in the air and point back to the tent. “I’m serious, and I really need to pee!”
